Hello everyone we are happy to announce details for the 2024 Atlanta Model Figure Show. This Show will be held on February 9, 10, and 11, 2024. (NB: Due to scheduling conflicts this is the second weekend in the month rather than our usual third one)

We will once again be at the Atlanta Hilton Northeast, the site of our 2023 Show and we are looking forward to working with those nice folks again. The Hotel is located at 5993 Peachtree Industrial Blvd., Peachtree Corners, GA 30092. Room night rates for the show will be $123.00/night. To make online reservations you may use the following link;

Prior to the Show itself the folks at Sabot Miniatures will feature a Jim Rice Workshop on the Thursday and Friday prior to the show opening. (February 8 and 9) . The subject/topic has not been set, but for sure it will be a quality workshop as Jim’s abilities as both painter and instructor are well known. More details will be available soon and will be available through the Sabot Miniatures web page, www.sabotminiatures.com

In 2024 we will be raffling a painted figure and $100 Gift Cards/Certificates, one each, from Sabot Miniatures and Scale 75. The figure, “The Archer” (pictured) will be painted by Grand Master and Chicago Medal winner, Matt Springer. We hope to have “in progress” photos of the figure soon, along with details for online purchase, to begin ticket sales. The raffle will be offered to both those in attendance and online to those who are interested. We will ship winning items as/if necessary so you don’t have to be present to win. Tickets for this raffle are $5 each, 5 for $20 and 15 for $50. Payment may be made via Postal Money Order or through Paypal

Subjects for seminars have not been confirmed as of yet, but our panel discussion feature will continue as in years past. Of particular note is the probability of the presence of renowned figure and flats artist Penny Myer. In addition to the discussion, she has volunteered to host a demonstration on painting flats for one and all. There may be a chance for some hands-on experience as well as helpful hints. If you have a flat that you need help with, bring it along. This will be Penny’s first visit to our show in several years and we are excited to have her back. We are appreciative of her sharing her knowledge and abilities with everyone.

As you can see, things are shaping up and we are looking forward to the Show. Hope to see many of y’all there.

Our Silent Auction will once again make a showing in our Registration area featuring pieces from Grand Masters, future Grand Masters and others of varying degrees of ability. Don’t fail to stop by and see which ones might look good in your own display case.

Registration Fee for the Show is $30 for unlimited entries. General Admission is $10 for the entirety of the show.

Entry Forms is available for download and maybe be filled out online or by hand after downloading.

Simply fill them out at your convenience, print, and bring to the Show with your entries. Forms will also be available at the Registration Desk at the Show for those who desire.
